Mary Brown's Other Son
Thanks for that question fiestymom. Yes, Jack and Mary did have another son. They did not feature him at all in the movie. It is my understanding that he has had a really hard time dealing with seeing his mother and father go through what they have concerning Chris' death. He has also had to put up with a lot of problems stemming from Christy's behavior.

Mrs. Reyes, this movie makes me cry everytime...I find it amazing that Christy turned out to be like her mother although she was not raised by her..Poor Mary Brown, she gave her life for this girl only for her to turn out like Dusty. I wouldve loved to meet her..
Also Mrs. Reyes can you tell me why Ralph Jackson is out of prison now and why Dusty only received the time she did? This man was brutally killed and a marine at that..I dont understand why he was let out..thx
I wish people would put themselves in Christys shoes. Granted, her behaviour was bad, but the pain, confusion and heartbreak she personally struggled with had to be intense.
I went to high school with her. She wasn't that nice and seemed to thrive off the popularity of this film being made about her. She may be different now, but I haven't seen or spoken to her in over a decade.
We all wonder why the law works the way it does. It's not the reason why it's just happens. What has happened with the little girl?
I never knew none of this.
