Update: Mary P Brown died Saturday Feb 13, 2010
Mary P. Brown, mother of Chris Brown, died on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010. Graveside services for her were held at Gallant First Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallant, Alabama. She was 74 years old. Her body was cremated.
Side Note: Her sons' murder and Charlene Brown consumed her until the end. I was told that she never got over his death, and that she continued to talk about the case to any and everyone who would listen. RIP Mary Brown.

Hello, Mary Brown was my aunt. She was a great lady. Before she passed I drove my mother to see her sister. We had a lovely visit and she had pictures of Chris and Christine on display. It was a very sad but true story.
Rest with your son and the angels
I thank God for all the work that she has done for the justice of her son and the safety of her granddaughter and the work that she has committed her and her husband will not go in vain God bless her memory.
It is directly because of her mother.
I had forgotten about this story and it played this morning. Prayers to Mary for fighting and never giving up. She is a very inspiring person. I know she’s flying high with her son. Extra prayers.
I watch the movie and it was so sad. This was a mother who loved her son and will not rest until justice was found.
I pray you are with your husband and son.
I've watched the movie several times and Mary Brown was a fighting mother and she made sure her son didn't die in vain.Justice was served..Job well done mother Brown 🙏🏾
